Aluna de projeto social é semifinalista mundial de concurso de canto chinês
Jovem se classificou ao vencer etapa nacional; outros dois alunos da instituição também se destacaram, ao conquistar o segundo e quarto lugares

Desde 2020, o Instituto Anelo conta com patrocínio master da CPFL Energia e State Grid, por meio do apoio do Instituto CPFL. A iniciativa, que promove a inclusão social através da música, faz parte da frente CPFL Jovem Geração, e atua há 24 anos na cidade de Campinas (SP). No final do mês de maio, uma aluna do projeto representou de forma inédita o distrito do Campo Grande, periferia de Campinas, nas finais de uma competição mundial de canto chinês.
Since 2020, the Anelo Institute has had master sponsorship from CPFL Energia and State Grid, through the support of the CPFL Institute. The initiative, which promotes social inclusion through music, is part of the CPFL Jovem Geração (Young Generation CPFL) front and has been operating for 24 years in the City of Campinas, State of São Paulo. At the end of May, a student from the project represented the District of Campo Grande, on the outskirts of Campinas, in the finals of a world Chinese singing competition.
Maria Eduarda Santos Nascimento, a Duda, de 20 anos, foi campeã nacional da Copa Cubo da Água de Canto Chinês, realizada no bairro da Liberdade, em São Paulo, no dia 26 de maio, um feito que a classificou para a semifinal mundial do concurso.
Maria Eduarda Santos Nascimento, aka Duda, 20 years old, was the national champion of the Cultures of China Water Cube Cup Chinese Song Contest, held in the Liberdade neighborhood, in São Paulo, on May 26, an achievement that qualified her for the world semifinals of the contest.
Além dela, outros dois jovens talentos do Instituto Anelo foram premiados no evento, um marco histórico para o Instituto. Na disputa, os jovens cantaram em mandarim, mostrando o alto desempenho obtido nas aulas iniciadas na instituição há apenas dois meses, com a professora Jia Sun Costa.
In addition to her, two other young talents from the Anelo Institute were awarded at the event, a historic milestone for the Institute. In the competition, the young people sang in Mandarin, showing the high performance achieved in classes started at the institution just two months ago, with teacher Jia Sun Costa.
A competição é coorganizada pela Beijing Radio and Television Station, Water Cube, Beijing Artists Management Corp Ltd., China Conservatory of Music, Juventude chinesa do Brasil e Centro Cultural da Ásia em São Paulo, com o objetivo de promover o intercâmbio cultural entre a China e o Brasil e ampliar a conexão entre os dois povos. O Anelo participou da divisão brasileira do concurso, promovido ainda em outros 33 países, como a China, Inglaterra, Canadá, Indonésia, Nova Zelândia, Argentina, Japão, Itália, Nigéria, entre outros.
The competition is co-organized by Beijing Radio and Television Station, Water Cube, Beijing Artists Management Corp Ltd., China Conservatory of Music, Chinese Youth of Brazil, and Asian Cultural Center in São Paulo, with the aim of promoting cultural exchange between China and Brazil and expand the connection between the two peoples. Anelo participated in the Brazilian division of the contest, promoted in 33 other countries, such as China, England, Canada, Indonesia, New Zealand, Argentina, Japan, Italy, and Nigeria, among others.
Daniela Ortolani Pagotto, head do Instituto CPFL, menciona que a parceria da empresa com o Instituto Anelo começou com a frente social CPFL Jovem Geração, lançado em 2020, para apoiar projetos que utilizam a música e o esporte como ferramentas de mudança social. “Para nós, faz muito sentido apoiar uma atividade cultural como essa, onde os alunos têm a oportunidade de conhecer outra língua, como o mandarim. Acreditamos que essa integração cultural entre os dois países, amplia os horizontes desses jovens em direção de uma cultura milenar e diversa, explica.
Daniela Ortolani Pagotto, head of the CPFL Institute, mentions that the company’s partnership with Anelo Institute began with the CPFL Young Generation social front, launched in 2020, to support projects that use music and sport as tools for social change. “For us, it makes a lot of sense to support a cultural activity like this, where students have the opportunity to learn another language, such as Mandarin. We believe that this cultural integration between the two countries broadens the horizons of these young people towards an ancient and diverse culture, she explains.
Duda revela que as aulas sempre foram muito animadas, com grande incentivo da professora e que o principal desafio foi a pronúncia. “A professora é perfeita, nos incentiva, nos coloca para cima, ajuda nos tons. Uma coisa que tive dificuldade, acho que todo mundo, foi a parte dos tons do chinês, que a gente não encontra no português.”
Duda reveals that the classes were always very lively, with great encouragement from the teacher, and the main challenge was pronunciation. “The teacher is perfect, she encourages us, lifts us up, helps with tones. One thing I had difficulty with, I guess everyone did, was the tone part of Chinese, which we do not find in Portuguese.”
Além da campeã Duda, moradora do Satélite Íris, Nicoly Alessandra Rosa da Silva, de 17 anos, moradora do Jardim Bassoli, foi a vice-campeã, e Rafael Oliveira Cordeiro, de 17 anos, do Satélite Íris, ficou em quarto lugar. Eles foram premiados com R$ 1,5 mil, R$ 1 mil e R$ 300, respectivamente. Os alunos participaram da categoria disputada por brasileiros (chamada de grupo estrangeiro). Outras categorias reuniram chineses de várias idades que vivem no Brasil.
In addition to champion Duda, a resident of Satélite Íris, Nicoly Alessandra Rosa da Silva, 17 years old, a resident of Jardim Bassoli, was runner-up, and Rafael Oliveira Cordeiro, 17 years old, from Satélite Íris, came in fourth place. They were awarded BRL1,500, BRL1,000, and BRL300, respectively. The students participated in the category contested by Brazilians (called foreign group). Other categories brought together Chinese people of various ages who live in Brazil.

Para a vencedora da Copa Cubo da Água, as emoções começaram com o anúncio dos prêmios aos outros colegas. “E quando chamaram o meu nome, Maria, em primeiro, não esperava. É uma questão de que valeu o esforço”, diz ela, que gosta da cultura chinesa, e busca aprender o idioma pela internet.
For the winner of the Water Cube Cup, the emotions began with the announcement of the awards to her other colleagues. “And when they called my name, Maria, at first, did not expect it. It is a matter of whether it was worth the effort,” she says, who likes Chinese culture and seeks to learn the language online.
A vice-campeã, Nicoly, também ressalta a felicidade pela conquista. “Estou muito feliz, esse prêmio não é só meu, é de todos, também dos que participaram da primeira fase”, afirma. A jovem também ressalta que participou da competição como uma forma de ampliar seus conhecimentos. “Foi excelente, saímos de nossa zona de conforto, nos superamos.”
The runner-up, Nicoly, also highlights her happiness with the achievement. “I am very happy, this award is not just mine, it belongs to everyone, also those who participated in the first phase,” she says. The young woman also highlights that she participated in the competition as a way to expand her knowledge. “That was excellent, we left our comfort zone, we surpassed ourselves.”
“Participei porque queria experimentar algo novo, não sabia quase nada sobre a cultura chinesa. O processo de preparação foi divertido e um pouco complicado, com horas em vocal, pronúncia e atuação, para transmitir a emoção da música”, declara Rafael, quarto colocado, que além de cantar, ainda tocou violão.
“I participated because I wanted to try something new, I knew almost nothing about Chinese culture. The preparation process was fun and a little complicated, with hours spent on vocals, pronunciation, and acting, to convey the emotion of the song,” declares Rafael, fourth place, who in addition to singing, also played the guitar.
